| In 1946, Eric took over the business from
his father and ran the business until 2004 with his son, Robin.
Eric used to mix the new flavours himself which has 29 varieties including
Brandy and Orange made with real brandy straight from the bottle! Ice cream
is not just for little children.
Dennett's Ice cream is available a large number of shops, hotels and
restaurants. Eric said before he died in September 2003, "We
are expanding but we don't want to conquer the world. We are simply a
family firm producing good quality ice cream. We make our ice cream for
quality, not profit. That is why we use the best ingredients. The taste
of our ice cream speaks for itself as it contains 12 to 14% milk fat."
